I have the same problem after recently upgrading to VB 6.1.16 on MacOS Big Sur 11.1. I have attached the log file as requested.

I split this off the older topic since it was a year old at least, and might be different causes.
The log doesn't show me any egregious problems.

I would try disabling 3D acceleration.
3D acceleration requires a decent OpenGL implementation on the host. Perhaps the Apple OpenGL implementation is not up to snuff, since last I heard, Apple were trying to push developers towards their proprietary framework (Metal).
