Virtual Box and folders

Post by Jeecee811 »

Hi

I'm using Virtual Box 6.1.16 and both my Windows machines (7 and 10) are giving me the same results. I Installed Guest additions and I shared two folders (everything is fine up to now) but my win machines (both of them) are telling me that the name, the path or the volume is incorrect. I can see my two folders already.

Am I missing something?

Thanks

You are missing the VM log.

Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Hi

Thanks. I did my best to put my computer in English then I exported the log from the Win 7 machine.
