Trying to run Windows Server 2019 M1 Pro chip

Post by T22 »

Hi guys,

I'm attempting to run windows server 2019 via virtual Vox on an M1 Pro chip, however I am met with a nice message stating "A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped." Any ideas how to get this to work? I have included the VBox.log and VBox.png file below. I have assigned 4096mb ram and 2 cores, and the boot order is hard disk, optical. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Many thanks in advance,

T.

Please see M1/M2 Mac 7.0 Beta Status. XP is the latest OS that has run in the ARM Virtualbox.

I am trying to run virtual machine on my m1 2020 mac but an error keeps popping up telling me to copy my logs and share it to the website. Could somebody help me out.
