No 6.0.16 installer

I'm trying to update from 6.0.14 to 6.0.16 but I've noticed a couple of problems.

1. The link VBox offers to update is broken. A close look at the link shows it has some sort of mismatch in the version filename (...6.0.16/VirtualBox-6.0.15...).

2. Downloading it form the site directly works and installs (VirtualBox-6.0.16-135674-OSX.dmg), but when I look in the about page, it says

VirtualBox Graphical User Interface Version 6.0.15 r135660 (Qt5.6.3)

3. When attempting to install the ExtPack, it fails with the following error:

So I've decided to downgrade to 6.0.14 because I need the extPack's USB support but I'd like to test 6.0.16 and avoid the VboxSVGA stuff in 6.1.X.

I have exactly the same situation. Did you find a way to install 6.0.16 Extension Pack?

+1, but I believe the problem is that the "6.0.16" .dmg file provided by the "6.0.16" download link installs 6.0.15, not that the problem is that the 6.0.16 Extension Pack won't install into the resulting 6.0.15. In short, we have no installer that actually installs VirtualBox 6.0.16.

Same problem here. It seems what is labeled 6.0.16 is really 6.0.15. So when trying to install the extension pack, it fails because the extension pack really is 6.0.16 but it's trying to install on VirtualBox 6.0.15.

And before anyone says: "just install 6.1.2". 6.1.x is unusable because VMSVGA and VBoxSVGA are broken and they're removed all 3D acceleration from VBoxVGA (the only graphics controller that actually worked).

So, 6.0.14 is the latest release that's realistically possible on the Mac. 6.0.16 isn't available and the 6.1.x branch is non-functional due to all the graphics controllers being broken.

I concur. There still is no Max OS version of VBox 6.0.16. The one linked to and labeled 6.0.16 is in fact 6.0.15.
