Howday All,
bit of a problem i hope you geniuses can help me with.
Just installed Virtualbox Version 5.2.6 r120293 (Qt5.6.3) onto MacBook Pro High Sierra 10.13.2. No problems. Default res on Mac is 2880x1800 (Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB)
installed "Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-5.2.6-120293.vbox-extpack"
successfully created a new OS in virtualbox - Windows 10 Home 64bit. No problems
Started Win10, all works fine.
BUT.... i can only get Win 10 working in a window. when i go fullscreen, i get black all around the windowed OS.
can you please help me get the screen to full size?
Thanks in advance.

I think if you install the Guest Additions in the in the VM, you will solve the problem.

Re: Virtualbox screen will not fit monitor
Just a small correction. That's the "theoretical" resolution. Your OSX never allows that kind of a resolution, it shows an effective 1920x1200. I'm saying that in case you decide to take your guest to anything higher than that, you're not going to be able to see all of it...Funjunkie6 wrote:Default res on Mac is 2880x1800

Re: Virtualbox screen will not fit monitor
Seem to be having the same issue.
After updating to Virtualbox Version 5.2.6 r120293 (Qt5.6.3) on MacOS High Sierra Version 10.13.2 (17C205)
I started my Win7 VM and it starts but the visible screen is so small I can do anything. Installing Guest additions is impossible.
Starting in Safe mode gives me a 'normal' screen and I am able to install the guest additions but that does not help a bit so far.
