Hello, I come to the community to expel my revolt. Because every time a kernel is updated, something that is only myth is rarely done, more is done. It happens that the virtual box stops working, that is, it's horrible. it is the solution that the company itself does not work. You will not solve this once and for all, no!

My linux mint 19.3 is with the kernel 5.5.6 I am 3 days trying to solve this problem and no solution works. The big problem is that I can't get vboxdrv to work in the kernel. Another one of my bios has secure boot disabled and he still thinks it is enabled. I can't take this anymore, someone from the forum can give a solution.

Thank you in advance

error !

Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)

The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver is either not loaded or not set up correctly. Please try setting it up again by executing

'/sbin/vboxconfig'

as root.

If your system has EFI Secure Boot enabled you may also need to sign the kernel modules (vboxdrv, vboxnetflt, vboxnetadp, vboxpci) before you can load them. Please see your Linux system's documentation for more information.

where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT.

Make sure you have VBox 6.1.4 installed/updated to. Prior versions are not compatible with Linux 5.5.x.
