Re: W10 crashing while playing youtube video
So, you're getting a crash in the VirtualBoxVM process, i.e. the VM window, and the VM aborts, right?whyn0t wrote:No error is written to VBox.log.
You are running the generic (All Distributions) Linux version of the latest test build. Do you get the same crash if you use the 6.0.14 release?

Re: W10 crashing while playing youtube video (#19071)
Good Morning,
I'm expecting a very similar issue except my VM aborts when visiting the website https://www.influxdata.com/. The website contains some animations and after some seconds the VM process dies. I reproduced this several times.
The Win10-Guest is running on VirtualBox 6.0.14 r133895 (Qt5.6.1) on a RHEL 7.7 Host. Host and Guest are on a current patch level. The core dump of the VM is compressed still 12 MB in size and I could not manage to attach it here or to the bugtracker. Is there any other way I could provide the dump to help getting more insight in this issue? The VBox.log does not look very promising.
When the VM aborts I got the following in /var/log/messages:

And that's exactly why 'whyn0t' gets a permanent 2 week cooling-off ban for severe forum vandalism.scottgus1 wrote:Whyn0t deleted all of his posts.
Their ego got hurt because they didn't hear back from an Oracle developer (which they did in the ticket). Same attitude in the ticket. I guess some people want immediate, personal attention, and if they don't get it they're holding their breath until they turn blue. And that's fine, as long as that affects only themselves. If their actions affect the community, there are going to be consequences...
