About guest OS

Post by satimis »

Hi folks,

CPU - AMD Athlon64 AM2 X2 3800
RAM - 2G 6400 dual channle
HD - SATA 160G 8M cache
Broadband connection - 6M

Virtual Machine is completely new to me.

I'm prepared to build a VM with ubuntu-7.04-server-amd64 as host. I suppose to download "Ubuntu 7.04 ("Feisty Fawn") | AMD64".

Can I run OpenBSD amd64 as guest on it?
Can I run i386 Linux as guest on it?

TIA

Tks for your advice.

Can 32bit OS run on 64bit VM? Because I'm going to install Ubuntu-server-7.04 amd64. Tks.
