Xubuntu 18.04 64bit as a host, Win7 as a client. However it affects all clients. After finding out that all USB devices where unaccesible by the client, dispite having the right ExtPack and being member of vboxusers group, I decided to reinstall the host anew.
Right after the fresh install, I installed virtualbox again, installed the ExtPack and added my user to the vboxusers group. After rebooting I could see all USB devices listed under Devices.
Then I carried on with my installation:
1. I restored my system with APTIK: Repos, Packages, Users, Groups, Dconf, Cron, Icons & Themes
2. I installed and added some custom programs & scripts
When I checked if the USB devices where still available for the clients, again there was the annoying message of: no devices available.
Thank you in advance
