Font and icons in VirtualBox Manager are tiny
I recently installed VBox 6.06 on my Ubuntu 19.04 client machine via apt, and I have a weird issue that I don't recall having on 18.10...the vbox install went smoothly, no errors, but when I open the VBox manager the font size is so small its near illegible. I've played with the font schemes and whatnot in gnome based on some similar things I found after some google-ing, all most all the issues I've found were related to the size of the VM console window or some component thereof, I haven't found anyone having the same issue with the manager UI, and none of the things I've tried have impacted it in any way. Has anyone seen this before or have any idea how I might remedy it?

Please try with the official VirtualBox version instead of the one from Ubuntu repos.

You should completely remove/uninstall/delete/purge the Ubuntu forked version and install the official version from the Linux Downloads section of VirtualBox.
You can even add VirtualBox as a repository, so you could use your traditional install/upgrade/uninstall tools.

Re: Font and icons in VirtualBox Manager are tiny
SMW74Eltoro - I'm having a combination of problems which include tiny fonts as well as graphic corruption.
I'd originally posted by problem here ..
Graphic corruption when using dual monitors (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=92877)
In that thread quidj noticed that the problem seems to be affected by multiple monitors with different resolution sizes.
I thought I'd check if you also have multiple monitors with different resolution sizes. I have monitors in 3840x2160 and 1920*1200, If I change all my monitors to the same resolution the problem goes away.
I also noted when all my monitors were the same resolution, the font size was consistent and OK.
Also what type of driver are you using. I upgraded to Ubuntu 19.04 from 18.10 and am now using the nvidia-driver-418 that comes with the installation.
Everything was working fine with virtualbox using the same hardware before the upgrade, so am trying to narrow down what component caused the problems.
Keen to hear what you find.
