Hello,
I am on Manjaro Linux.
I would like to know the answers to the following questions as they are all related to my desire to use as much storage space as I have.
1. Is it possible and how to expand a current OS disk space?
2. Can I move the current location to another device?
3. How can I use a spare external device to increase the storage?
Question No. 3 is my favourite way.
I admit I have not read extensively about the above (as I have about installing Virtualbox). In order to save time and effort of the responders, please send links to read unless you deem it worth explaining to an average user.
Thank you in advance!

How to resize a Virtual Drivejojopara wrote:1. Is it possible and how to expand a current OS disk space?
Right-click on the VM in VirtualBox Manager, "Move...".jojopara wrote:2. Can I move the current location to another device?
See above. Be careful though, sudden "ejects" or power loss can really ruin your day...jojopara wrote:3. How can I use a spare external device to increase the storage?
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Re: expanding, moving or using external device
As I said, be aware of the speed (even USB3 is slow compared to a SATA HD/SSD), and the sudden "disconnects" of all sorts. Also another thing that I forgot to mention is the "Power savings mode" that some OSes reserve for their USB devices.
