[Solved] Guest freeze after period of inactivity

Since the update to 5.2.24 (and also currently at 5.2.26) I have a problem that after a period of inactivity the Guest (Ubuntu 18.04 flavor) freezes.
Time will be updated in the screen.
Host is not fallen to sleep mode of screen-lock

The message I get in my logfile is:

00:32:23.370167 OpenGL Error: crUnpackExtendWindowVisibleRegion: parameter 'cRects' is out of range

The settings are attaced

Anybody a clue how to solve this annoying problem?

Please post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip, and attach the zip here.

Quick guess: it sounds like power saving kicking in.

The host was nog in PowerSaving mode, I was constantly working on it.

The latest log after hanging the machine. No other option then force it to shutdown.

Looks like power saving kicking in, combined with a bug in the OpenGL drivers in either host or guest. Did you try turning off the monitor timeout?

I turned off the monitor timeout and the problem seems to be solved
