the error code in question is
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Kali-Linux-2018.4-vbox-i386.

Not in a hypervisor partition (HVP=0) (VERR_NEM_NOT_AVAILABLE).

VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ConsoleWrap
Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}
im usually good at deciphering errors and problems and working my way to find the solution but as this is my first time using a vbox i am trying to find a solution. any help solving this problem is greatly appreciated. by the way im trying to run linux kali because its one of my favorite os. this error is the only thing coming up.

I believe it's self explanatory; your BIOS doesn't have virtualization enabled. Get into your computer BIOS and enable it if you can...
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
