Re: Problem with codification (?)
What does "codification" mean? Can you explain?
Also, you can attach images here, locally. In fact you *should* attach images here, not too many people will go to 3rd party sites. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.

Re: Problem with codification (?)
Holly molly! By Toutatis!!!
What sort of an abomination is this!
There's something really wrong with your host, not VirtualBox I'm afraid. It seems that the system default fonts are being substituted by Windings or something *ding*! VirtualBox uses the system font, so I'm not sure how you got yourself into this mess...
BTW, what's the system language? Theme/fonts? Any UI customization?

If I select and copy the text in virtualbox and paste it in an editor, the text comes out correct
Example:
VirtualBox Graphical User Interface
Version 6.0.0 r127566 (Qt5.11.2)

Re: Problem with codification (?)
• Do you have any other Qt-based apps? And they behave correctly?Kros wrote:The strangest thing that only happens to me in virtualbox, in other programs and applications I do not have this problem.
• What if you downgrade to the latest 5.2.22?
Whatever it is, try to make it work, or there's no VirtualBox for you until 10+/Jan/2018, when the devs come back from vacation, identify (if they can) the problem, and (potentially) provide a fix/workaround...
Speaking of... Happy Holidays!

My crystal ball is currently broken. If you want assistance you are going to have to give me all of the necessary information.
Please don't ask me to do your homework for you, I have more than enough of my own things to do.

Re: Problem with codification (?)
Do you have the ability to change the language (briefly) to English to see if the problem persists?Kros wrote:Details of my host:
