How to run VMs from other user account?

Post by kraf101 »

Hi,

I have a number VMs, registered in my home "VirtualBox VMs" folder. (working with common NAT network)
I would like to allow other users to run these VMs (headless), from their accounts and with their rights.
Any idea and tips?

Thanks

Can't do. VMs are registered per user.

You could have them in a Common folder someplace where everyone has RW access, but each user needs to register the VM under their account.

And if you want "their rights"? Forget it. It's like telling me that you want the same spreadsheet shared, but different.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
