[WorksForMe] How to config it when the dialog is too small

Hi, all
I have a problem when using virtualbox, the dialog will change to a small one after the system start, as the follow picture shows

I assume that "the dialog" is the VM window. It can happen if you shut down the host while a VM was minimized.

As for the fix, it seems to me that your little screenshot is showing a grabbable/resizable frame?

What if you:
  1. Resize the window? Even maximize it?
  2. Press HostKey+A to auto-resize it? Or go to the menu "View" » "Adjust Window Size"?
BTW, what if you go to the VirtualBox Preferences » Display » Maximum Guest Screen Size? What's that set as? If anything but, set it to "Automatic", the default.

I'm sorry, it is my fault, I didn't config it well in i3wm

i3wm? You should have mentioned that part from the beginning... Developers (from what I've heard) aren't particularly fond of self-arranging, self-resizing window managers, they have the tendency to cause ... issues, just like yours ;)

I use i3 just for fun, it'll work well if doesn't set the window to floating
