I'm trying to run a vm in another tty, and I've put the "/usr/bin/virtualbox --startvm windows7 --fullscreen" in .xinitrc.
The problem is that when I run "startx virtualbox"(which is the entry' s name), only virtualbox window run and not the specified vm. By running the above command in a virtual terminal the vm starts as expected, so there' s no typo mistake. I also tried to use exec and to put the command in a script and use that instead of put it directly, but always only the the virtualbox window runs. This way suggested in some relevant threads I found on net and seems that works for some people. I'm using virtualbox v. 5.2.10 on a linux mint pc.
Any help?
