Ubunto virtualbox Win 7 0x80070057 Error when copying Files

Having Ubuntu 12.4 with the latest VBox 14.1.44 release, installed the extension pack and the guest additions and I run a Windows 7 32-bit guest.The copy files from shared Ubuntu home folder to the guest OS not working. However, this error pops up:

"An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.

note

Error 0x80070057: The parameter is incorrect."

No such VirtualBox version exists. The latest release is 5.2.18.

Looking at the records: I assume you mean 4.1.44, which is far from being the latest release, in fact support ended three years ago.

I suggest that you install 5.2.18.

Yes the version is 4.1.44, it is auto installed by ubunto (apt get)
Now the compy of txt file is possible , that is not possible with other exention files (.exe ....etc).

That would make your version of Ubuntu a fork, not supported on this site even leaving aside how old it is. As before, I suggest that you install the latest official version v5.2.18.
