When attempting to run a firmware update for my HP docking station through my Win10 guest OS (Cent7 is host), I receive this error: vmmtool: initialize GPU library failed. I'm using VB 5.2.18r124319. Also tried 5.2.16.
As a shot in the dark, I tried with 3d & 2d acceleration on and off.
Anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks!

Re: vmmtool: initialize GPU library failed
Are you actually trying to modify physical hardware from a guest? Do you realize that your guest is a virtual computer with virtual hardware? It has no clue that the docking station is there! This "experiment" is doomed to fail.worpweasel wrote:When attempting to run a firmware update for my HP docking station through my Win10 guest
