I can't access the shareFolder (Downloads) from the Ubuntu Host
on the Ubuntu Guest

Oracle Virtual Box Ver 5.2.8
VirtualBOs tools installed
I tried adding the user of the VM to the Virtual box sf group as suggested in some forums but it doesn't work.

There are no such things. Please be precise when reporting a problem/issue, or we're all going to get really confused.

We're going to need to see a VM log from a complete VM run:

Start the VM from cold-boot (not from a paused or saved state) / Observe error / Shutdown the VM (force close it if you have to).
With the VM completely shut down (not paused or saved), right-click on the VM in the VirtualBox Manager and select "Show Log".
Save only the first "VBox.log", ZIP it and attach it to your response. See the "Upload attachment" tab below the reply form.

Problem solved by using the user I am logging in, into the VW, to the groups vboxsf or something like that in the VP group ( oracle Virtgual box speical group).
I though I did it, but using the GUI to do it, I didn't do it properly the 1st time
NOw can access shared Folder from the Ubuntu host, from the Ubuntu guest
