From a backup. Like any other file you accidentally delete.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Yes. If you delete a file, it's deleted. There is no recovery mechanism.

Re: How to Recover deleted vmdk file Virtual Machine
In order to delete a VM from inside VirtualBox you first have to click "Remove", and then you have to confirm that you wish to delete the physical files. If you did both of those things then the VM is gone. If VirtualBox failed to free up such a large amount of disk space when told do do so then it would be considered a bug.

Re: How to Recover deleted vmdk file Virtual Machine
If the VM folder is no longer present in the "<user documents>\VirtualBox VMs" folder then the VM has been physically deleted, as will be expected if you answered yes to the "delete physical files?" question.

Re: How to Recover deleted vmdk file Virtual Machine
You started this thread like that. If you deleted the VM like you say you did:Mannuko wrote:Two days ago I accidentally deleted my Virtual Machine Windows 7 32 bit vmdk file in virtual box
then bye, bye... Your VMDK is gone. Forever. Done. No recovery. Start again fresh. And keep a backup...Mannuko wrote:Whenever I deleted that Machine selected options, delete all files, in Virtual Box
