Yeah, happy fedora user with kernel, which does only allow signed kernel modules.

Why did it run on my Dell system with Fedora 27 I had until some days ago ?

Probably a difference in host OS configuration between the two platforms possibly as a result of BIOS/UEFI differences. What does...
$ mokutil --sb-state
...on both platforms give you?

Maybe the modules are signed, or the system is configured to allow not-signed modules?
I don't know or use fedora or any other distro with signed kernel.

I only have the new system. The old one is broken some days ago.
Result is

mokutil --sb-state
SecureBoot enabled

I disabled SecureBoot

This did the job !!!
