Hello,
I am trying to DL VB on my computer, but when i go to the install page for Linux I click "All other distributions", and when I do, it takes me to a page with a bunch of code on it. It does not download VB. What is going on? I don't believe I have the other versions that are listed, but I can download some of those.
Can someone help?
I tried to use the terminal commands, but gets so complicated that I get lost and don't know what to do.
Appreciated
Allen

Re: Installing VB w/Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon 64-bit
- You don't need to download the ".run" (generic) version, you need the Ubuntu 16.04 version. Mint 18.1 is based on Ubuntu 16.04, see the release notes.
- Even if you wanted to download the generic version, you should download it by right-clicking, save. Or let the whole thing load in your browser (not suggested) and save it. You then make it executable and run it. But as I said, you don't need that generic version, there is a specific version for Mint 18.1.
