Debian Stable - 30% of the time hangs on resume

Postby makh » 21. Nov 2017, 05:28

Hi

I am having this issue, almost a while now. Only remedy is to force poweroff and restart. The processor is on full load, and Debian is unusable.

My host is Arch Linux:
Code: Select all   Expand viewCollapse view
pacman -Ss virtualbox |grep install
community/virtualbox 5.2.0-3 [installed]
community/virtualbox-guest-iso 5.2.1-1 [installed]
community/virtualbox-host-modules-arch 5.2.0-5 [installed]

My guest is current Debian Stable:
Code: Select all   Expand viewCollapse view
9.2

I have installed the guest additions from the arch provided package.

I dont have this issue on other OS, including devuan.

Please inform, where should I look... :?

Thankyou

Hi

For the stuck machine with no response, I get on Host:
dmesg:
Code: Select all   Expand viewCollapse view
[13821.842451] TCP: request_sock_TCP: Possible SYN flooding on port 8999. Sending cookies.  Check SNMP counters.

Is there any place I can view the logs or something ... as /var/log of host OS has nothing on the virtualbox?

Thankyou

Edit:

found it at: machine-path/Logs/vbox.log, attached...
