Post by h4mz4 »

Hello VirtualBox Community Dev's.

I had been looking on a long for this problem solution But i didnt Find anything  .

I make a video explaining my Virtual-box issue On Linux (Fedora 25):

When i open it i gives me this (Segmentation fault ) as a normal user... But when i Open virtual-box as a root it open normally.

Ps : I got this problem After my Installing new update + WOrking with some C++ scripts.

Thanks a bunch.

Not a "Using VirtualBox" question. Moving to "LInux Hosts".

I don't do videos but if you want to explain the issue here I will look into it. Also provide some diagnostic information.

/var/log/vbox-install.log ( as an attachment )
/var/log/dmesg ( as an attachment after the segfault )
guest log file ( as an attachment ) if you have actually made and installed a guest.
Also do you usually run as root or just trying things to see what happens?
