Hi All,
I'm running VirtualBox on a Fedora 25 Linux host. The guest is windoze 7 professional 32 bit. It loads and runs just fine and *most* of the software I use works fine. However, that [argh] app Rand Mcnally DOCK doesn't want to recognize the chip from my navigation unit.
To make matters worse, windoze sees the [sd] chip as drive E:, and I can view the contents of the chip and various files with file navigator.
I can do this either by inserting the chip into the SD slot on my laptop or via a USB / SD adapter into a USB slot. In both cases it's mapped in as drive E:
This software does work if windoze is booted on the hardware instead of a virtual.
Does anyone have experience with this or have any suggestions ?
TIA
