VirtualBox Broke Linux Networking

Post by rds01 »

Installed VirtualBox on CentOS 6 Networking is now broken. I have tried to install Virtual Box on Linux before all with bad results. Tried again ... same old story. Can anyone speak to why this happened and how to resolve it?? CentOS 6 / VB 5.1.5.1.

removed vb ... rpm --erase ....

still no networking ...

Was working fine before the VB install!?

Which VirtualBox version and where did you get it from? If you got it using your package manager (rpm), that means it's from the forked version of your distro. Because I can tell you for sure that there is no "VB 5.1.5.1". Remove that and install the official one from: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

In what sense it's broken?
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
