WINDOWS 7 GUEST ABORTS ON MOVE DATA TO HOST USB DRIVE

Post by jivabill »

I am trying to send files from my Win 7 Guest to the USB Drive attached to the Host which is Linux Mint 13 Maya.

i have the USB drive from Host showing up in my guest OK. I can see it in My computer. I made a special folder on the USB drive to send a file to as a test. When I move the file from Win 7 guest desktop over to the USB drive in My Computer the Win7 guest instantly aborts. On checking I find that the file was indeed moved successfully, but that aborted the guest. I am at a loss for why and what to do about it. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks for reading.
