Keep a shortcut out of Virtualbox ??

Post by vincen »

Hi

I use Virtualbox in Linux with Windows in it. I have a shortcut in Linux to switch between my virtual desktop. I have Virtualbox in one of these virtual desktops. Unhappy when I'm in the Virtualbox my keyboard shortcut to switch of desk is not working as directed to Windows and not Linux.

Is there a way to setup Virtualbox so that some specifik keyboard shortcuts are redirected to host system and not the hosted system ?

Thanks

Not really, but if you press the HostKey once before you use your shortcut, you direct the keyboard input to your host.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
