virtualbox kernel driver problem on fedora

Post by Linux Mint lover »

After installation of Virtualbox on Fedora I can not open any virtual machines because it says I need

Code: Select all

kernel-core-devel-4.7.3-200.fc24.x86_64
to work. I have precisely followed the steps in http://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/2 ... -hat-rhel/ but it still does not work. My kernel version is 4.7.3-200.fc24.x86_64. I searched for that driver and the only source I could find was http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/fedora ... 86_64.html, however if you click the download button it says that the file has been removed. HELP!

Did you reboot after the latest 'dnf upgrade'?
The current kernel in Fedora 24 should be 4.7.4-200.
