Start VM with Script in 5.x?

Post by cableguy414 »

I had a script that I could use to start my VMs when I was running 4.8.x, that would call "vboxmanage". But I just installed 5.0.12 and the script no longer works. It also seems that vboxmanage no longer exists. At least it's not in it's original location of /usr/bin/

How do you start VM with a scipt/via CLI in 5.0.x?

Thanks.

Nevermind, I found it. I was originally going to just delete my post, but then I figured I'd post what I found in case anyone else was also looking for the information.

So in 8.4.x, it put vboxmanage in /usr/bin/vboxmanage. Now it is in /usr/local/bin/VBoxManage (case sensitive)

Well, there was no VB 4.8 and VBoxManage is in /Applications/VirtualBox/Contents/MacOS
