Start tag expected, '<' not found. Error After Moving VMs

Hi,

I cant access my VMs anymore after I moved it from my home folder to a second drive in my pc. I keep getting an error
Start tag expected, '<' not found.

I suspect it's because the new drive needs to be mounted on startup and that it is a windows partition drive. Can anyone confirm if this is the problem and what I should do. I do have a backup of the VMs in my home folder and I can start that up without any problem. But I need to have it running on the New drive as I need the space
