Hi,
I will make this as clear as I can. I don't what can do and what can do not virtualbox as bad thing to the host depending on the kind of VM.
I have for several weeks now some event 19 in a windows machine since her upgrade to i7-4790k and some kernel panic to my server ubuntu which has received the same kind of upgrade i7-4790k. on the b oth the Os was new.
the event 19 and the kernel panic was concerning a desync of one of the core of the cpu apparently. It happens a lot of times.
From my test -exchanging cpu, test with another cpu same result- seems to not because really by the cpu. but seems satistically doubtful to be the both motherboard or any other equipment as PSU or RAM.
The thing that they have in common is that they run both virtualbox for boinc project -> boicn.berkeley.edu. And in the server, more than the project boinc, I have my VM also. So I desperately need virtualbox. So is it possible that it comes from virtualbox? (used the last version fo course).
Need advice on problem

Re: Need advice on problem
You have posted this question in both "Windows Hosts" and "Linux Hosts". Which is it?
Please pick on scenario (one host, one VM) and provide a VM log file: Minimum information needed for assistance.
And I must say that I'm finding the problem description a bit hard to read. If you could make it clearer that would be good too.
