I run Vbox on a debian Squeeze.
Yesterday, on 2014-09-10 I've upgraded VBox from 4.3.14 to 4.3.16 as my apt-get was showing a new release.
at the first run, all my VMs crashed showing an aborted symbol.
I realized that I might have to upgrade also the guest additions to 4.3.16 so I did it.
Then I was able to start my VMs, I haven't tested all but I tried a Win XP and a Win 7.
So it seemed to be right.
But today I tried to transfer datas from an android smartphone to my Win 7 Vm using an usb link.
As soon as I started to copy from the smartphone to my VM It crashed, I've tried many times and every time it crashed.
I just tried to look for updates using the help menu an I got an erro message meaning :
Network operation failed with error : bad SSL certificate format (in french : L'opération réseau a échoué avec l'erreur suivante : Mauvais format de certificat SSL)
Now I'm going to downgrade to 4.3.14 cause I really need to use those VMs for my work.
Since the upgrade from 4.3.14 to 4.3.16 my Windows VM crash

We really need to see a guest log file ( as an attachment ) before you downgrade as well as the VBoxSVC.log to be able to sort this out. Without those this is just a wasted space topic.
Please note that you must provide a log that is showing the failures not just a start the guest and stop. You must make it fail first then post.
