Unable to Install Ubuntu 14.04 VM get critical error

I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04 and had not used VirtualBox in a while. I have been trying to install an Ubuntu 14.04 64bit server and keep getting the Guru Meditation screen. Attached is the Vbox log file.

Host system: Ubuntu 14.04LTS 64bit
uname: Linux PE2900 3.13.0-34-generic #60-Ubuntu SMP Wed Aug 13 15:45:27 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
VirtualBox Version: 4.3.14 r95030

Anything else I can provide that would be helpful ?

Still unable to get this to work. Submitted bugtracker https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/13311 but no one has posted anything. I think virtualbox is having trouble identifying the CPU correctly but I can't prove it.

I have uninstalled virtualbox and installed libvirt/kvm and it works great.

I downloaded virtualbox 3.2.26 but can't install it because of a python issue.

Any ideas out there ?
