I have a Linux server (ubuntu 14.04) on which moodle 2.7 is installed and running.
I would like to install/use VirtualBox (1 VM running Win7) on this same server in order to allow students to practice software skills.
My questions are:
Is there a way to integrate VB in Moodle?
If not, how to configure VB in order to allow multiple users from my moodle lms
The moodle enviremont contains students. As part of a course they need to practice some software skllls.
This software I - preferably - would install on a vm.
The thing is how to set the configuration and location of that vm.
After logging in into their moodle course I would like to grant them access to that vm.
On a local test server (Ububtu 14.04) I installed Moodle as well as VirtualBox.
But once logged in into Moodle I can't 'link' to the vm I created.
Moodle is stored in /var/www/html
VirtualBox VMs is located in /home/<personal_folder>
I understand better what you're trying to do, but how to integrate VB into product xyz would be a question for the support of the said product.
On the other hand, if you ask more precise questions, or how to achieve something in Virtualbox (like starting or stopping a VM from PHP), then I (or others) could help you here.
Your questions are simply way too generic right now...
