VirtualBox 4.3 does not install on CentOS 7

Hi All,

Linux newbie here... I am having problems installing VB 4.3 on CentOS 7. (Fresh out today).

It comes up with a transaction error. I am thinking the repos have yet to be updated...

Any help would be appreciated!

The newest version of VirtualBox is at least a month older than the host you have. I doubt it would work properly in any regards, but without precise error messages no one can help.

Hi, I have the same problem with VirtualBox-4.3-4.3.12_93733_el6-1.x86_64 install on CentOS 7 then the error say:


"# rpm -i VirtualBox-4.3-4.3.12_93733_el6-1.x86_64.rpm
error: Error de dependencias:

NOTE: I have installed libpython 2.7 version

try this fedora 18 version it's more closed to rhel 7 kernel
