[Solved] Seamless mode make host desktop masked

Dear all..

i'm using Ubuntu 14.04 (3.13.0-29-generic) and VirtualBox 4.3.12-93733~Ubuntu~raring,
i created vmdk for windows 7,
when i change to Seamless mode,
the host desktop always get masked,
plz tech me to clean the mask, thanks

The experimental seamless mode does not like 3D acceleration.

but i disabled 2d and 3d Acceleration

oh yeah!!

i found solution,

the problem is ubuntu 14.04 unity effect,

just install Compiz Config Settings Manager

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

and set options like this..

1. set "Active window shadow color" Opacity to 0.
2. set "Inactive window shadow color" Opacity to 0.
3. checked "Override Theme Settings".

all work find.
