Hi everyone,
I'm kinda new to Virtualisation, here's my setup
AMD 8 cores 3.7GhZ
8gb of ram
120gb Kingston SSD V330 (Host and Guest are stored in this drive for efficency)
1 x 3tb WD RED contains 2 dynamic Virtual disk (1x 1tb, 1x 2tb)
2 x 1tb WD Black contains 1 dynamic Virtual disk 1x 1tb
1 x 1tb WD Green each contains 1 dynamic Virtual disk 1x 1tb
I've installed Ubuntu 14.04 as the Host on the SSD and I also Installed WHS 2011 as the Guest in VirtualBox.
I've already setup my drive pool in WHS for all the 1tb HDDs.
Specs for WHS Guest VM :
2 processor
2560mb of ram (will eventually drop it to 2048mb because after a few test the system only use 1538mb)
250gb for the VDI (Since WHS requires 250gb of storage in order to install has it creates to partitions. One for the OS and programs and the other for initial data storage)
I used the windows 2008 preset as WHS 2011 is based on Windows Server 2008
the system was installed last weekend
Now the Issue :
Every time I make updates on ubuntu (Apps and OS) all the virtual disk beside the main one, fail to load when I start the VM Windows Home Server 2011. The first time it happen I had to format all the drives in order to make them work again. Now this time all my files were transfered to the virtual disk pool. And I really need all the data. I really need to fix the issue because I build this system to manage all my files not to destroy them.
Any suggestions ?

Re: Ubuntu 14.04 Host+WHS 2011 Guest VirtualDisk Failure
OK so I found out what happen. When rebooting ubuntu, ubuntu unmounts all drives but it doesn't automaticly mount them back. Any Ideas why and how I could make it automatic ?
