Hi all,
I have a big project and problem.
My mission is to virtualize a computer using Windows 95 or Windows NT and use the PCI cards connected with.
The main connectivity I need is between my VMs and a PCI- GPIB card.
Do you have any idea, I've already try PCI Passthrough (Vt-d + make kernel with IOMMU on ...)
But I have several bugs, due to shared interrupts, then devices is not available or locked.
If you have a solution, or if you want more specific details, don't hesitate.
Thanks for your future responses.
Kevin

If you got PCI passthrough working with your PCI-GPIB card, you would then need Win95 or NT4 drivers for that card. Do you have that?
In general, using a VM to talk to real hardware IMHO usually finishes at a dead end. The whole point of VMs is to be agnostic about the hardware.
