When you download Virtualbox from your site does it contain the extension package and other extensions, e.g. to use shared folders?
Or do you need to install extensions separately?
Does Virtualbox for Linux from your server ship with the Qt GUI manager?
Does Virtualbox for Linux from your server have the necessary stuff to build the kernel modules? Of course, you need the kernel sources itself and development tools on your machine, I know.
Thanks you.

Moved to "Linux Hosts".
The standard download includes the Guest Additions, which you install in a supported guest to get GA shared folders, integrated mouse etc.
The extension pack, which extends the functions of the host software, is not included in the main download.
I believe your questions about host prerequisites is answered in the user manual, installation on Linux section.
