Inactive USB devices

Post by bLAZY »

Hi,

I can't access to any USB device in VM, connected to my host. All worked long time, until now. VM see devices, but are grey. I didn't installed any important updates.
My host system is Ubuntu 11.04 64bit, guest systems Ubuntu 12.04 32bit and Windows 7 32 bit. On both guest system is the same situation.

I read that user who starts VM must be the member of vboxusers group. I am.
I can't find any other solution.

VirtualBox and Extension Pack versions: 4.1.22 r80657

EDIT:
Something interesting -> I started VM with Windows and tried to connect iPod. But it was grey (likewise other devices: laptop embedded webcam and mouse receiver). I closed Windows but didn't unplugged iPod. After some time I started guest Ubuntu and wanted to connect one thing but first I looked into VM USB devices menu and there webcam and mouse receiver were grey but iPod was active. I can mark it and it behaves normally, is connected in my virtual system. Another device connected now is still grey.
