No devices available for USB

Sup forum?

I have a problem with Virtual box...

I have a USB flash disk that I want to use in my Windows guest, but I cannot get it to work.
I go into settings>USB, and I click on the icon of a USB device with a green +sign, and it says <No devices available>.

I know for a fact that my USB device is working perfectly, and I am currently using Linux Mint 11 as a host and using Windows XP Professional SP2 as a guest.
This problem is probably easily solvable, I just have not figured out how to yet.

All help is much appreciated, and thanks in advanced! :D

Read the User Manual and VirtualBox FAQ about USB in Guests?

Sorry!
I forgot to mention that I have read the User manual, and it still has not helped me.

Then tell us what you did. There's not much information to work with here. All you say is how you tried to add the device to the VM, but you don't mention any system changes.

Actually, I have solved my problem. I stupidly forgot to simply log out after I added myself to the usergroup.
Thanks for your help anyways!

Cheers.
