Launch a vm in Virtualbox 1.40 and my Mandriva Freeze!!!

When i launch a virtual machine with Virtualbox 1.40 in my Mandriva 2007.1 (Kernel 2.6.17-13)x86_64, my system freeze and i must reboot it.

i have the same problem with vmware 6...

When i try to launch the virtualbox daemon give me this error:
Avvio daemon virtualbox: Error inserting vboxdrv (/lib/modules/2.6.17-13mdv/kerneel/3rdparty/vbox/vboxdrv.ko.gz): invalid argument [Failed]

I Resolved this problem adding this string : nmi_watchdog=0

At the boot option for my kernel!!!
