Ubuntu 10.10 as client on Ubuntu 10.04

I am running VB 3.2.8 on Ubuntu 10.04 and have installed Ubuntu 10.10 as a client. It installed fine and also the GuestAdditions, however the Ubuntu desktop does not re-size when I make the VB client window larger. However it captures the mouse on rollover as I'd expect after the Guest Additions install.

Is this peculiar to 10.10 or common to all Ubuntu clients? i have not used Ubuntu as a client before, although i use other Linux distros and also Win XP and Server2003.

Is this a bug in VB or Ubuntu?

The vboxaddition do not support the current kernel so cannot install the video driver.

Let's hope that an update comes in soon as a lot of linux releases are coming and they will be using a similar kernel.
