Hi everyone
I have a WinXP SP3 guest that runs flawlessly in 2.2.2 on Ubuntu Jaunty with a 2.6.30-020630rc2-generic kernel (for Intel graphics/X windows reasons).
When I upgrade to 2.2.4 with dpkg -i virtualbox-2.2_2.2.4-47978_Ubuntu_intrepid_amd64.deb and restart Virtualbox, the WinXP SP3 guest boots and then crashes shortly after displaying the logged in desktop. I am able to boot into Safe mode with this Guest though.
When I downgrade to 2.2.2 with dpkg -i virtualbox-2.2_2.2.2-46594_Ubuntu_intrepid_amd64.deb and restart Virtualbox and the Guest, it runs perfectly again.
As I can safely reproduce this problem, how can I get some useful debugging information to work out what the problem is? The boot log doesn't show the crash.
Thanks in advance

You should actually open a bug report at http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Bugtracker and attach (please do NOT cut'n'paste) your VBox.log file of such a crashing VM session to this ticket.
