no usb section in settings dialog

Hi,

I'm running VirtualBox under Gentoo and it works fine except that i have no usb section in the settings dialog so i can't add any filters...

Does anybody have an idea how to 'activate' the usb support of VirtualBox?

Please read the User Doc!

Not with OSE and without Guest Additions!

The Windows Guest Additions are installed and up to date, but there is no usb section in the settings window (as described in User manual chapter 3.7.6.1) anyway...

so I am not able to configure any usb settings and the guest windows system cannot access any usb devices...

any suggestions?

Do you have the Binary or the OSE Edition? It only works with Binary.
