VirtualBox 1.0.5 with Seamless in use

Hi,

I have just upgraded my VirtualBox on Ubuntu 7.04 to version 1.0.5 and I am impressed, but (there is a always a but

), it seems buggy on my system, in particular when I activate Seamless mode, the screen goes black with the ubuntu menu at the top and the Windows menu at the bottom, and half the time the Windows menu stays sticking up.

At least it is heading in the right direction (unless I have done something wrong) and will be a definitely competition for Parallels on the Mac in particular.

Has anyone else had these issues, and if you have, have you found a way to resolve them.

okay just tried it without compiz on and it works....seamlessly. lol

so it has to be because we are running some form of composite engine at the same time.

thats a pain then, as Xgl / Compiz makes my workflow easier when working on various projects etc... I think I will keep with it then and see if they resolve the issue in the future.
