Mouse unusable

Post by rrranch »

Mouse is not usable in a windows 7 and XP guest installs on Ubuntu 8.10 host. I am using a HP Pavilion dv9500 laptop. Physical machine dual boots vista and ubuntu 8..10. In both installs I can see the mouse frozen in the center of the setup screen. Never did get win7 to install but I was able to finish the install of XP. But still no mouse. I am running the latest version of VB 2.12. Any ideas?

Did you click inside the VM window? That should grab your mouse, after a warning message which you really should read before you deside to ignore it for the next time it grabs the mouse.
