After upgrade to VB v7, VMs on Mageia running very slow...

Post by fjco »

Hi. I upgraded to VB7 last Saturday.
I have two vms:
Windows Server 2016 hosting remote desktop server
Windows 10 Pro hosting sql server express

Physical host is a Mageia Linux

After the upgrade, users of sql server and remote desktop server are reporting me thet both vms are very slow,

Things I have checked/done:
Enough RAM for both vms
Enough cores for both vms
Every virtual disks are running in his own ssd physical disk
I installed the latest updates for Mageia.

May you please give me some ideas to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance for your kind help

EDIT1: It seems that the problem is with VB network communication. Every night, I make a backup of both vms and I upload it to google drive. All the process is pretty fast (more or less 2hr) until yesterday. The backup from yesterday(monday night for me) has not finish to upload yet.

EDIT2: Both vms use bridged adapters to connect to my LAN

Finally I solved the problem:

I change the adapter type to "Virt-IO" and installed the driver in this site:
